You can turn connected fundraisers on or off on any fundraising page, using the Allow connected fundraisers setting.
Alongside a standard fundraiser, you can run an umbrella team or event fundraiser. Others can then link their own fundraiser to it, and the donations from the linked fundraisers are all added together to the team or event fundraiser.
Turn connected fundraisers on or off
- Log in to your account and open the fundraiser whose setting you want to change.
- On the right side of the fundraiser page, find Allow connected fundraisers.
- Switch it on or off.
What switching it off does
Visitors no longer see the Connect Fundraiser button, so nobody new can connect to your fundraiser. Fundraisers that are already connected stay connected, and they stay visible on your fundraiser page.
