No — WhyDonate charges a 0% platform fee, with no sign-up, monthly, or platform costs. The only cost is the standard payment processing fee, which depends on your country and the payment method your donors use. For example, iDEAL donations in the Netherlands cost just €0.35 each, with no percentage on top.
Only the payment processing fee, with a 0% platform fee on top. In euro countries that is 1.9% + €0.25 per donation for most methods, while iDEAL and Bancontact are a flat €0.35 with no percentage. Rates are set per currency, so the UK, US and other local currencies have their own equivalents.

Yes. Starting a fundraiser is free — there is no setup fee, no monthly subscription, and no platform commission. You only ever pay the payment provider's processing fee on the donations you actually receive, so you can start a fundraiser at no cost.
The payment processing fee is deducted from each donation before payout, so it comes out of the donation rather than being billed to you separately. Donors are also asked for an optional, voluntary tip to support WhyDonate, which they are free to remove.
Payment providers charge different rates for different methods and currencies, and WhyDonate passes those real costs through directly. That is why local methods such as iDEAL (a flat €0.35) can be much cheaper than a percentage-based card fee.
No. There are no withdrawal or payout fees, no monthly fees, and no platform fee — the only cost is the payment processing fee. A currency conversion cost can apply if a donation is made in a different currency than your payout.
At checkout, donors are invited to add a small voluntary tip that helps keep WhyDonate running. Tips are entirely optional for the donor and can be switched off on your donation form — they are never taken from your fundraising total.
