Fundraisers can be started from 113 countries: 39 in Europe, 29 in Asia, 21 in Africa, 13 in North America, 9 in South America and 2 in Oceania. Donations themselves can be made from anywhere in the world, whatever country the donor is in.

What you need to receive donations
To register and receive donations you need to provide:
- an ID, and
- a valid bank account number.
WhyDonate is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and is open to both individuals and organizations.
Note: a small number of countries and regions are excluded for regulatory reasons. See the high-risk countries.
