How do I connect my WhyDonate account with Zapier?

WhyDonate integrates with other applications through Zapier, so you can automate data sharing between systems without writing code.

Connect your account

1. Log in to Zapier.
2. Create a Zap.
3. Click on Trigger and search for WhyDonate.
4. Choose your trigger event, such as a donation received.
5. Click 'Create a new account'.
6. In your WhyDonate dashboard, open Integration in the left-side menu and choose Integrate Zapier.
7. Click Generate new Zapier Key, copy the key and paste it into Zapier. This is not the API key the WordPress and Wix plugins use: Zapier has its own.
8. Select a language. Zapier then receives your fundraiser's title in that language, if you have translated the fundraiser into it, and anonymous donations are labelled in that language too.
9. With the trigger configured, click 'Test Trigger'.
10. Find and select the app you want your data to show up in.

1. Choose what Zapier should do with the data — create a new donor in your CRM, for example.
2. Select the account for the app you chose.
3. Configure the details, test the Zap, and publish it.
