You can integrate WhyDonate with your own software systems — a CRM, an email tool, or another system. The data of donors, donations and campaigners is then imported into your own systems automatically, and you can set up follow-up actions such as your own thank-you emails.
WhyDonate uses the Zapier platform for these integrations. To check whether Zapier can link your software system to WhyDonate, view the Zapier website.
What you need
- A Zapier account. Create one at Zapier.com. You can choose the 'Free' package or purchase a paid package. As a non-profit organization you can get a 15% discount on the paid packages.
- Your Zapier Key. Generate it on your Zapier key page — in the dashboard menu, Integration then Integrate Zapier. This is a different key from the API Key used by the WordPress and Wix plugins. Zapier has its own.
