Yes. You control whether your fundraiser is public, and you can switch it off and back on whenever you want.
Hide your fundraiser
- Open your fundraiser page.
- Find the Public toggle in the Fundraiser Status card.
- Switch it off. The status changes to Private - Published.
What this does and does not do
This is the part that catches people out.
Switching a fundraiser to private removes it from search and from browsing on WhyDonate. It does not close it.
The fundraiser keeps accepting donations. Anyone who already has the link, has scanned the QR code, or lands on a donation form you embedded on your own website can still donate, exactly as before. Nothing about the payment flow changes.
So this is the right control when you want to stop attracting new visitors while keeping the page working for people you send there yourself. It is the wrong control if you want donations to stop.
