Is it possible to add an update to a fundraiser?

Yes. Updates keep everyone who visits your page informed about how the fundraiser is going. An update can contain text, images or video.

Add an update

1. Open your own fundraiser page.
2. Scroll to the Updates section.
3. Click Add Update and write your update.
4. Click Save. It is visible immediately to everyone who visits the fundraiser.

If the Add Update button does nothing

The button is switched off while a fundraiser is still a draft or has been closed. That is the usual reason it looks unresponsive.

Publish the fundraiser first, and the button becomes active.

Change or remove an update

Each saved update has its own row of icons:

• the pencil opens it again for editing;
• the bin deletes it, after a confirmation step;
• the remaining icons translate the update and share it.

A deleted update cannot be recovered, which is what the confirmation is there to tell you.
