How to translate your fundraising campaign into other languages?

You can add your fundraiser in several languages. This is currently possible in 19 languages.

If your language is not listed, choose English and enter your own language anyway. The general components of WhyDonate appear in English, but your content stays in your own language.

Set the language before you create the fundraiser

A new fundraiser is created in the language WhyDonate is currently set to, and that original language cannot be changed later. Use the language switcher at the top right of the screen to set it first.

Translate the fundraiser

1. Open your fundraiser while logged in.
2. Click the translate icon to the right of the fundraiser title, or the one to the right of the fundraiser story.
3. Pick the language you want to add, then write or adjust the translation. Auto Translate fills it in for you to edit.

Note: if you do not add translations, WhyDonate translates your fundraiser automatically using Google Translate. You do not have to do anything for this.
