Yes, you can create a fundraiser to pay for your college tuition, as long as the countries are supported by WhyDonate and its payment partners.
For an underage individual, we recommend having an adult setup the fundraiser, such as a parent/guardian, since you will need a bank account. Use the space to tell your story about why you’re doing this for yourself.
We recommend adding as much information as possible for the fundraiser, such as the name of the institution, fees, which are updated as per the year, along with a letter of interest to help donors know the authenticity of your campaign.
WhyDonate pays the money to the owner of the fundraiser, directly into their chosen bank account. From there, you can choose to send the funds to the institution you’re raising funds for directly.
We don’t ask for proof of admission to raise funds since admissions processes can be varied. We do recommend sharing as much information as possible for transparency, so donors can see your campaign.
