Every donation to your fundraiser goes straight to your own balance at Stripe, our payment provider. WhyDonate does not hold the money in between, and donations are kept separate from WhyDonate's own money.
From your balance, Stripe pays the donations out to your bank account: on the payout schedule you choose, or straight away when you click Payout Now. The payment processing fee is deducted from each donation, as explained in what it costs to use WhyDonate.
Tip: when you log in to your WhyDonate account, you can see in real time all the donations that have been made to your cause, when that happened and when they are paid out.
